Solo Exhibition at the Knit & Stitch Show, Olympia London

In 2018, I presented a solo exhibition at the Knit & Stitch Show at Olympia London, one of the UK's leading events for textiles, embroidery and contemporary craft.

The exhibition brought together a body of work exploring hand weaving, hand embroidery, material reuse and the stories held within cloth. Exhibiting within such a significant national event provided the opportunity to share my practice with a wide audience of makers, textile enthusiasts, collectors and fellow artists.

What I remember most is the generosity of the conversations that took place throughout the show. Visitors shared personal memories, experiences of making and connections to the materials and processes within the work. These exchanges reinforced my belief that textiles have a unique ability to carry stories, evoke memory and create meaningful connections between people.

The exhibition remains an important moment in my development as an artist, offering both visibility and encouragement while introducing my work to a wider national audience.
