Regenerating the Reef

I was delighted to be given the opportunity to contribute to Deborah Milner’s Regenerating the Reef collection, working with indigo-dyed textiles.

Former Alexander McQueen couturier Deborah Milner created a collection of couture pieces inspired by the death and regeneration of the coral reef. The collection was presented in partnership with SHOWstudio during London Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2018.

My contribution involved working with indigo, a colour and process that has remained an important part of my practice since graduating in 2013.

It was a privilege to contribute to such a considered collection, bringing together textiles, colour, craft and couture within a wider conversation about the fragile nature of the natural world.

The collection was presented through SHOWstudio.
