AA2A 30th Anniversary Exhibition
Last night's preview of the AA2A 30th Anniversary Exhibition at the University of Chester was a wonderful celebration of thirty years of supporting artists.
Delighted to have two of my own pieces included amongst this remarkable collection.
As I walked through the galleries, I found myself thinking about the value of access: access to workshops, specialist knowledge, time to experiment and the generosity of those who make these opportunities possible. My own residencies at Bradford School of Art have become an important part of my journey as an artist, and it was lovely to celebrate the shared history.
The exhibition has been thoughtfully curated, creating space for each artist while celebrating the richness and breadth of the AA2A community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to bring the exhibition together.
